Hope it rains | Soineann ní Doineann

Galway 2020

The two murals were commissioned for Hope It Rains | Soineann ní Doineann as part of Galway 2020 European Capital of Culture. 

One artwork was installed in Galway city in 2020 and the other in Athenry, Co Galway in 2021. The murals were painted using spray-paint and water reactive paint that becomes transparent when wet. The murals change form depending on the weather and the amount of rain that falls on the mural.
